Radici Sport supports “Scegliamo da Campioni”, helping young generations grow through sport
Sport is about more than competition. It provides opportunities to grow, connect with others and develop skills that extend far beyond the playing field. With this belief in mind, Radici Sport has joined “Scegliamo da Campioni”, a nationwide initiative promoted by the Italian National Amateur Football League (LND) and the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), under the patronage of the Italian National Institute of Health.
The project aims to help children and young people develop healthier habits and make informed choices in their everyday lives.
First presented in October 2025 at LND Quarto Tempo in Ferrara, the initiative combines nutrition education and prevention with the engaging language of sport. Through a free digital learning platform, interactive challenges and hands-on activities, it makes education accessible to young people, schools, families and sports clubs.
In 2026, “Scegliamo da Campioni” also took to Italian city squares with a travelling village, bringing its educational activities directly to local communities. Football matches, interactive games and experiences focused on road safety and risk prevention encourage young participants to learn through play.

A playing field that creates opportunities
Radici Sport contributes to the project by providing, free of charge, the artificial turf used for its travelling football pitch, installed at the various events across Italy.
This contribution reflects our commitment to supporting younger generations and recognising the educational value of sport. By helping create spaces where children can meet, play and share experiences, we aim to make a practical contribution to their development.
The travelling village’s first stops took place in Ferrara, from 25 to 27 September 2026, and Matera, on 7 and 8 October, bringing together young participants, schools and families through activities focused on health and awareness.
For Radici Sport, this partnership is an opportunity to put our expertise in sports surfaces at the service of a meaningful social initiative. Because investing in the future of sport also means supporting the people who will shape it.
